The Commonwealth

As the founder and president of The Peace Club, my mission was to foster a culture of peace, mindfulness, diversity, and harmony among young people. Our belief that creating a peaceful world starts from within led us to organize various activities, including cultural exchange programs and workshops. Recognized as a finalist for the 2023 Commonwealth Youth Awards, this honor is a testament to the collective efforts of The Peace Club members. I’m grateful for this opportunity and proud to be part of such a dedicated and passionate community.

I am humbled to share that that I have been selected as a finalist for the 2023 Commonwealth Youth Awards. This recognition means a great deal to me, as it reflects the hard work and dedication that I have poured into the community over the past four years.

As the founder and president of The Peace Club while I was a student at Otago Polytechnic, Dunedin, New Zealand, I made it my mission to foster a culture of peace, mindfulness, diversity, and harmony among young people. Our club firmly believed that creating a peaceful world starts from within, and we were committed to spreading our message of positivity and hope to make a positive impact on our community and beyond.

Together, we organized a range of activities and events that brought young people together to promote understanding and dialogue, including cultural exchange programs, workshops, and outreach initiatives. These efforts were supported by every member of The Peace Club, who selflessly dedicated their time and effort to make our mission a reality.

Receiving a finalist for the 2023 Commonwealth Youth Awards is an incredible honor that serves as a testament to the power of youth-led initiatives and community service. This recognition also provides much-needed encouragement to young people who are dedicated to making a positive impact on the world around them.

I am immensely grateful for this opportunity, but I must emphasize that this achievement is not mine alone. It belongs to every member of The Peace Club who contributed to our collective success, and I am deeply proud to have been a part of such a dedicated and passionate community.
