Today marks the beginning of another year as President of The Peace Club. I’m wishing for a peaceful state of mind as we continue to work towards our mission of promoting peace, mindfulness, diversity, and harmony for young people in New Zealand.
It was a wonderful day at the Museum Lawn as we had the opportunity to connect with young students who share our passion for creating a more peaceful world. I’m proud to announce that The Peace Club is now a registered charitable trust in New Zealand.
Our goal at The Peace Club is to inspire and empower young people to create positive change in their communities through a focus on inner peace and self-awareness. We believe that true peace starts from within, and we are committed to spreading this message far and wide.
Over the past few years, we’ve been honored to organize a range of meaningful projects, including the Art for Peace Competition, Otago Peace Day, and Volunteer Teaching. We are grateful for the support we’ve received from organizations such as the University of Otago, Otago Polytechnic, Dunedin City Council, Otago Community Trust, Peace and Disarmament Education Trust, Lottery Community, Ethnic Communities Development Fund, and Global Youth Mobilization, United Nations Foundation.
We invite you to join us on our journey to promote peace and make a positive impact in our community and beyond. Please visit our website or reach out to us on social media to learn more about The Peace Club and how you can get involved. Together, we can make a difference.
